Manager appointed for Strathmore Park community centres: Jennifer Mason

The Strathmore Park Community Centres Trust is delighted to announce that Jennifer Mason has been appointed as the new manager of Raukawa and Te Tūhunga Rau community centres.

Jennifer worked as the Community Programmes Manager at the centres from September 2022 to March 2024. She was a highly respected member of the team so we are delighted to have her return in the Centre Manager role, bringing considerable skills and familiarity with the centre staff, volunteers, stakeholders and the communities they serve.

“Strathmore Park holds a very special place in my heart, so I am thrilled to be returning to Raukawa and Te Tūhunga Rau community centres in the Manager role," says Jennifer, "I look forward to working alongside each of you again, to ensure that the centres are welcoming, thriving hubs of activity for the entire Strathmore Park community. Mā te wā e te whānau!” 

Jennifer will start in early December. Tereska Lepionka-Carroll, who is the trust’s Accounts Administrator, will capably step into the Acting Manager role until Jennifer starts.

The board trustees, Sue McCabe, Simon Bowden and Rachel Healy, acknowledge Sa Manu's contribution and commitment to the centres in her contracted role as Transition Manager from February to October. They also thank the wider community centre team and volunteers for their support as the centres move through these changes.
