Te Tūhunga Rau is the new name for our facility on Strathmore Ave. It offers a variety of spaces for different needs.
Raukawa Community Centre is a small facility, suitable for meetings up to 8 people.

A remarkable transformation took place in 2022/23. This post-war, wooden building is a now a stunning, modern facility, suitable for small and large group bookings, and private social functions. It has a wooden floor, open plan lounge/kitchen, meeting room and clinic room. Capacity is 115 people. Trestle tables and 90 conference-style chairs make the hall suitable for large gatherings.

All-day bookings, Monday to Friday, can only happen during school holidays, due to regular programming in term-time.

During centre opening hours there is a lounge/meeting room available for small groups or private hire. The kitchenette facilities are also available.
After hours, the hirer has exclusive access to the centre, including use of the kitchenette and additional casual seating area.
The Raukawa Reserve, directly next to the community centre, provides a great outlook, and activity space during warmer months.
